Ghana midfielder Kingsley Sarfo is officially the third most expensive player in the history of Swedish giants Malmo FF after completing a 13 million kroner (19.5 million USD) move from IK Sirius.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian signed a four-year contract with the former Swedish champions on Thursday after two weeks of serious talks.

Initially, IK Sirius were demanding 15 million Kroner after earlier turning down a 10 million Kroner bid but both parties came unto conclusion with the Upsala-club accepting 13 million.

“Malmö has good players that I want to play with. It is a great club that can help me to reach the top. I am always fully focused on my performance as well as the team,” Sarfo stated during his unveiling.

Sarfo has already applied for nationality switch as he wishes to play for the Swedish National Team.
