Aduana Stars midfielder Zakaria Mumuni admits his side was frustrated by the delay tactics of Asante Kotoko in the 0-0 stalemate on Monday.

The Fire club dropped two vital points before their home fans against Kotoko to stutter in their pursuit to secure top spot in the Premier League.

Aduana struggled to create enough chances throughout the game to worry Kotoko who will be very happy with the point earned away from home.

But the Porcupine Warriors had to play the final 20 minutes a man down after Jackson Owusu was sent off for time wasting.

And Zakaria Mumuni believes this tactic adopted by Kotoko played a major role in their inability to win the game.

“We were really frustrated by the delay tactics adopted by Kotoko,” he said.

“They were always looking to slow the pace of the game down and this affected our flow.”

Aduana are now two points behind leaders WAFA after three rounds of matches in the second round.
