Egyptian giants Zamalek has signed Congolese international Kabongo Kasongo as a strike partner for Benjamin Acheampong.

The White Knights acquired Kasongo from Ittihad of Alexandria on Sunday on a four-year deal as they seek to find a suitable attacking colleague for the Ghanaian ahead of the coming season.

Kasongo, 22, netted 12 goals for Alexandria just this ended season whilst Acheampong also banged in ten for Dakhleya before their switch to Zamalek.

With both having similar playing style, the management of the former Egyptians champions are confident they can help the Royal Team to wrestle the title from Nadi Al Ahly next season.
