In an unusual Friday  match-day action, Accra Hearts of bounced back from defeat on match day 17  to winning ways after thrashing Bolga All Stars four goals to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians lost to league leaders WAFA 5 – 0 in Sogakope last week but restored the excitement within the fraternity scoring all four goals within the hour mark.

Coach Nutall’s charges got off to a brilliant game as the Phobians dominated possession right from the whistle. A brace from Kwame Kizito and Vincent Atinga did the trick for Hearts who further drowned their opponents at the bottom of the table.

Despite the results, the Phobians remain third on the league log, three points behind Aduana Stars who are billed for the weeks’ top liner against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Monday June 12, 2017.

Hearts of Oak face Elmina Sharks on match day 18 in what promises to be a tough test for the title contenders.
