Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has urged Kwadwo Asamoah to reject the temptation of leaving Juventus due to limited first team opportunities.
The 28-year-old has hardly played for the Old Lady this term owing his absence to a combination of injury and inability to regain a starting place.
Asamoah has endured a torrid time with the Italian giants in recent years due to the recurrence of injuries.
The Ghana international however remains a member of the squad that are on the brink of making history of winning a treble this season.
Many however feel the former Udinese man should leave Juventus in search of regular first team action.
But Appiah who won the Serie-A with Juventus feels Asamoah’s career is better off staying put in Turin.
“They [Juventus] like him a lot,” he said.
“He has had a lot of injuries but whenever he comes back he is always in the team.
“That shows you how much they like him there.”
