Mexican Primeira Division side Atlas FC are ready to sign Ghana youth international Clifford Aboagye on a permanent deal from relegated Spanish La Liga outfit Granada.
The 2013 World Under 20 Bronze ball winner joined the Foxes on loan from Granada B and has been one of their key men playing 13 games out of a possible seventeen with an impressive passing ratio of eighty percent.
Mexican Sports Portal Laaficion have revealed that Atlas FC owner Grupo Salinas is very happy with the output of the diminutive playmaker and is ready to meet his $2 million buy-out clause this summer.
Aboagye’s contract with Granada expires on June 30, 2018 but the club are ready to sell him this summer rather than losing him for free next year.
The 22-year-old schemer was touted as the next biggest thing in Spanish Football after being signed by Granada in 2013 but he has failed to break into the Granada main team after four seasons.
