Ghanaian international Khalid Abdul Basit has expressed his excitement over his current form in the Kosovo Superliga for FC Prishtina. Basit, who is a former player of Dreams Football Club scored the only goal in a lone victory over Gjilani to move his side to the third spot on the league log in round 26 of the season.
The bulky attacker recorder his first hat-trick of the season a fortnight ago in a 3 – 1 comeback win over 10th placed Drita, summing up six goals in eight starts this season.
“It is exciting any time you find the net. It keeps me focused and I always continue to fight harder”.
“Six goals so far but I’m keeping my head up for the challenges ahead”, the Ghana youth star confessed.
Abdul Basit qualified his side to Europa League Qualifiers last season when he bagged a brace in FC Prishtina’s 2 – 1 win in the Kosovo FA Cup final, grabbing his first silverware since arriving at the club in 2016.
