  Elmina Sharks have appointed Yaw Acheampong as head coach after asking Kobina Amissah to proceed on two-match leave. The former Ashantigold boss was given the job on Thursday and will lead Sharks in this Sunday’s week-19 Premier league fixture against Accra Hearts Oak at the Nduom Stadium. Acheampong will be assisted by former Ghana international Felix Aboagye who was with Liberty Professionals. Sharks are lying at 12 position on the league table with 21 points. World Football governing body FIFA has imposed a one-year suspension on Ghana international Samuel Inkoom.
