Sekondi Hasaacas have filed a protest against Samartex 1996 FC who allegedly tried to influence the outcome of their match day six, Division One League game against them. Samartex 1996 FC won the game 2-1 at the Essipong but Sekondi Hasaacas claim their captain, Thomas Aboagye was bribed with GH₵4,000 before the game hence their protest.
