Ghana striker Paul Ayongo says he is not surprised as several Portuguese topflight teams are after his signature.
The 20-year-old attacker has been on fire for Amarante FC in the Campeonato where he has netted 22 goals this season.
Ayongo indicated that he is having his best season ever in his young career and he is not astonished that a host of Primeira Liga clubs are on his heels.
“I feel good and I’m happy the Primeira Liga teams want me. As a young player coming up, it serves as a big morale booster for me to keep fighting hard and also continue scoring,” Ayongo told footballmadeinghana.com
“Hopefully I will sign for one first league teams here during the summer transfer widow,”
“As a matter of fact it has been a fantastic season for me so far, I am getting enough playing time and I am banging in the goals also.”
The budding forward who previously featured for Ghanaian outfit Charity FC is also on the radar of Dutch club FC Twente
