Goalkeeper Theophilus Jackson is on the verge of signing for Hearts of Oak, FootballMadeInGhana.com can exclusively reveal.
The former WAFA goalkeeper has been training with the Phobians for some time now. He has featured in all two of their pre-season friendly matches against Attram De-Visser Academy and Heart of Lions.
“We are still in the negotiation process though at the advance stage. I expressed interest to join them and they asked me to come and train with the team. If the technical team gives them the green light, they will sign me up” Jackson said.
“Thankfully negotiations have started and we are about 80 per cent done. So far everything is going smoothly; very soon, I’m sure the announcement will come out by the club.”
Jackson has been with WAFA for the past five years, and he was one of the players that qualified them from the second division to the first division and finally into the Ghana Premier League.
