Nduom urges FA to advertise league

The owner and bank roller of Elmina Sharks, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has charged the Ghana football Association (GFA) to advertise the Ghana Premier League (GPL) which is certainly the GFA’s biggest football product on the domestic scene.

According to him, the GPL need to be on the minds of football fans and one way to achieve that, he argued, is through advertisement adding that, structures must be put in place to advertise the competition itself, not only Kototo-Hearts matches.

”I want to tell the GFA that they must help promote the league. They must advertise the league. I don’t see the advertisement [on the] league that matches are coming up and in promoting it, it can’t be just Kotoko and Hearts games” said Dr. Nduom at the Ghana Coaches Association Congress in Accra.

”If you have some things to promote bring it to us and we will show them in our television channels and also put them on our radio stations so that people will be interested in our local league”.

The start of the 2017/18 season is not known since the GFA is yet to go to Congress to officially close the 2016/17 season and usher in the new season.
