Ebusua Dwarfs defensive pillar Kingsley Nteng has revealed that he never took any signing on fee when he joined Aduana Stars.
Nteng was one of the key players who helped the Dormaa-based club to secure qualification to the Ghanaian elite division seven years ago.
The talented guardsman disclosed that as a youth player then, he was given a Nokia 3310 Phone to play for the Fire club.
“I was given tape and Nokia 3310 phone to play for Aduana Stars and I was filled with joy because it wasn’t common to get a mobile phone at that time and I still have the tape in my room”,Nteng told Space FM
“At the beginning of the season the chairman will call you that we are going for preseason and at the period I was just playing since I was young and never thought of any signing on fee. I was just happy to be part of the team”,
Nteng who has been very consistent in the Ghana Premier League for close to a decade has also featured for Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals.
