WAFA right back Caleb Amankwah has declined a move to Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars.
Amankwah was one of the outstanding players of WAFA as they finished second in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season and has caught the eyes of the Dormaa-based club.
Aduana are in the market looking for a replacement for their skipper Godfred Saka who is in Nigeria and is expected to sign for Enyimba FC but Amankwah seems not to be enthused about playing in Ghana.
According to a close source, the youngster is dreaming of a move abroad should he leave WAFA this window.
“Amankwah is eyeing a move to Europe should he leave WAFA now, he is not keen on playing for any club in Ghana,” The source told footballmadeinghana.com
“This is the second time he has rejected a move to Aduana, he believes he can develop more in Europe,”
Amankwah played twenty-seven times for WAFA in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.
