The deputy coach of the Black Queens of Ghana, Mercy QuarcooTagoe says it is their wish to host the Women AFCON and win for the first time.
The former Black Queens player mentioned that they are doing everything possible to lift the trophy on home soil and also to make a claim in women football on the continent.
”As we all know we want to host and win but host and win depends on action so we will play our part as a team and the ministry and FA also need to play their part for us to achieve our objectives because together we can make it” Tagoe told footballmadeinghana.com
”We are hoping that very soon the team will be reassembled although I have no idea about the date but ”
”All set and done, I think everything has been put on paper between the Ministry and the FA so what ever is there for us to know I believe we will have it”
Ghana will host the rest of the continent in December next year in the 2018 Women AFCON.
