Everton eye Opare as Coleman’s replacement

Everton are the latest club to join the race for Ghana international Daniel Opare.

A report by English football tabloid footballinsider247 insists that the Toffees are keen on securing the services of right-back Daniel Opare from Augsburg in January.

Everton however faces stiff competition from Stoke City, Watford and host of clubs across Europe including Marseille and Sevilla if they were to make an offer for the defender.

The contract of the former Real Madrid Castilla player at Augsburg ends next summer but he has refused to sign a new deal as he seeks a move outside.

The Merseyside are looking for a right-back to fill the void left by Seamus Coleman who had a serious knee injury earlier this year and is out of action.

Opare’s current price tag is pegged at £2.5million though it can go down.
