Sporting Kansas City have announced that Ghana attacker Latif Blessing has obtained his U.S. green card and no longer occupies an international spot on the club’s roster.
The 20-year-old forward has been in blistering form for the MLS netting six goals and providing two assists in 31 games in all competitions in his debut season.
His contract with Kansas City expires in the winter of 2019 although he has an option to extend it to 2020.
The former GPL goal king is the second Ghanaian to get his Green Card in less than two years after David Accam.
