Zamalek’s new signing Benjamin Acheampong is back at training following a one-month injury lay off.
The Ghanaian striker torn a muscle in his knee at training in September and was expected to be out of action for two months after undertaken a scan but his recovery has been fast as he is back after just four weeks.
The forward was present at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday and had sessions with his team ahead of their league game with Tanta on Friday.
Zamalek signed the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko attacker from Dakhleya in June this year but he has never featured for them because of the injury.
Acheampong’s return is a big boost for new manager Nebosja Jovovic who has started building a winsome team.
