Galatasaray President Dursun Ozbek has hinted that the former Turkish champions will return with an improved offer for West Ham target Kwadwo Asamoah in January.
The midfielder, who can also operate at left wing-back, was believed to be close to joining the Istanbul giants this summer, but ultimately remained with Juventus.
He was also a target of West Ham, though they never formalised their interest with a serious bid for the player.
The Ghana international is out of contract at the end of the season, but Gala want to secure their man before he becomes a free agent – by making another approach in January.
“In the end Juventus didn’t want to let him go,” Uzbek told Fanatik.
“We already had an agreement with Asamoah, and we’ll repeat our offer during the winter transfer window.”
Asamoah joined Juventus from Udinese in 2012 and has gone on to win five scudetto’s with the Bianconerri.
