Validus FC which is the youth team of division one side Vision FC beat Legon FC by a lone goal in a crunch encounter at the Madina Estate Park on Saturday.
Validus who are now handled by the assistant coach of the senior side, Adamu Sulley were in superb form as they dictated the pace of the game.
The home side had more possession of the game in the first creating most of the chances but were unable to fine the back of the net.
The second half also saw more of exciting football from both teams but it was Legon FC who looked more threatening.
The deadlock of the game was broken in the 89th min through substitute striker Benjamin Gyemfi who connected a long throw by captain Daniel Zibo.
The game ended 1-0 in favor of Validus.
