Liberty Professionals boss Michael Osei has commended his charges following their impressive 2-1 victory over Medeama on Thursday.
The relegation-threatened side defied the odds to beat Medeama 2-1 at the Tarkwa TNA Park in a GPL Week 27 outstanding game.
Osei praised his side after the victory over Medeama as they continue their quest to avoid relegation.
“My good friend Evans Adotey has built a very good side in Medeama but coming into the game, we knew only a win will be a better result for us hence we’re determined to pick the maximum points,” Osei staed in the Post Match Press Conference
“Our motivation was really high than Medeama because they came into the game on the back of a painful defeat to Kotoko in the FA Cup. Therefore, we were eager to capitalize on that but in play I think it was a very difficult match, however I’m happy we’ve been able to achieve what we came here to do.”
“I will congratulate my players for a good job done. They were very determined and tactically disciplined.”
Liberty are not safe on the league log and have to defeat Berekum Chelsea at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman if they are to remain in the league.
