Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has hailed his move to Extremadura as a dream come true.
The elegant play maker is yet to join his new club due his involvement with the Black Stars B team at the ongoing WAFU tournament despite completing the move in Auguest.
Lomotey was integral for Dreams FC as the side won promotion to the Ghana Premier League in just the ended season.
And the budding Labadi-born star couldn’t hide his joy at getting the chance to have a feel of the Spanish game with his move.
“I felt very excited when I heard the news on the offer from Spain. It is one of the countries I always dream of playing in, Lomotey told dreamsfc.com.gh .
“So it is very exciting and it motivates me playing here in the WAFU tournament.
The former La Faith skipper has been key in all three matches for Maxwell Konadu’s squad but insists he needs to stay committed to the nation’s current dream of attaining a silverware.
“But the ultimate now is my participation in this tournament for Ghana.
“I need to stay focused and concentrate. That is the most important thing for me now. After this, I can now join my teammates for my first season in Europe, Emmanuel concluded.
Meanwhile Ghana will play Nigeria in the last group game of the WAFU tournament on Monday afternoon.
