Dreams FC defender Montari Kamahini has revealed that winning the young player of the season award came as a shock to him.
The budding talent played the entire duration of all the thirty games Dreams FC played this ended season as Dreams FC won the championship.
” Honestly I was not expecting the young player of the season award because we the young players everyone was good and on form,” Montari told footballmadeinghana.com
“I am happy because is not easy to win such an award at Dreams FC though it was a collective fight we fought,”
He added “We have made it not by our might but by the power of God. We thank God for his favor because without it we will not get where to where we are today. I thank the entire Dreams FC family, management, my fellow colleagues and everyone,”
Montari, has already been tipped to follow the footsteps of former Dreams FC left back’s Abdul Rahman Baba and Abdul Bashiru who are all playing in Europe.
