Mallam Zakaria urges Dreams FC to take Premier League by storm

The Chief Imam of the Khulafau Rashideen Masjid mosque in  Kawukudi-Maamobi, Mallam Mohammed Zakaria Addo has called on the players and management of Dreams FC to go all out in next season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Imam urged the players of the club to take their profession serious as it is a service to the nation and mankind as a whole.

“We are very happy with how far this club has come and the success you have achieved by qualifying for the Ghana Premier League as Division One Zone Three Winners. I personally have been following the exploits of the team from day one,” Mallam Zakaria stated on Friday after players and management of Dreams FC observed afternoon prayers with them.

“All I want to say is we are behind you in everything you do both physical and spiritual. We know you have what it takes to be the best in the Premier League and I will entreat all of you especially the players to go all out and perform”

“Football is very lucrative and is also a service to mankind and the nation as whole. We will entreat you to take it serious as it can take you far. You also should not have to joke with your training, He added.

Among the high profile officials of the club who accompanied the team were Executive Chairman Kurt E.S Okraku as well as President Mohammed Jiji Alifoe, Administrative manager Ameenu Shardow and Alhaji Cliff the club’s Community Relations manager.

After the prayers, the prayers and management took the trophy through the streets of Maamobi to thank their fans for supporting them all this while.
