Ghana striker Eric Warden scored for the second successive time for Greek Football League side Sparta FC on Thursday evening as they lost by two goals to one to Asteras Tripoli in a pre-season game.
The talented Ghanaian forward has been in tremendous form since his move to the fold of the Queen of the South this summer as a free agent.
Warden was on target over the weekend in his team’s win over Appolon over the weekend and he continued his impressive form in his second game.
The former Ghana Under 20 striker equalized for his side in the first half before the Superleague side went on to snatch a late winner in the second half.
“I am very impressed with my output so far, training and everything has been good. I am really looking up to the start of the season and Hopefully I will continue from there,” Warden told footballmadeinghana.com
Warden has previously featured for Spanish side Celta Vigo as well as fellow Greek clubs Fokkikos, Levadiakos and Iraklis Pschana.
