Black Stars deputy coach Maxwell Konadu says he will not bow out from his job following the B team failure to qualify for next year’s CHAN in Kenya.
Konadu revealed that football is full of uncertainties and he will come back stronger after the defeat to Burkina Faso in Kumasi.
“I am not resigning because that will not be the best, when you fall people think you are out and that is the end of you,” Konadu told the Press
“I can always fight back to win against my opposition and that is football, once we understand it we continue working until we achieve our aim,”
“I will not quit no matter how bad the situation may be, I won’t resign because of only one defeat. That is not football,”
“I know I have disappointed Ghanaians so if I quit it means I have turned my back to the nation,”
Ghana lost 2-1 to the Stallions at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi after drawing the first leg 2-2.
