We are developing women football-Oti Akenteng

The Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Francis Oti Akenteng has emphasized that they have done a lot for the development of Women football in this country.

Akenteng highlighted that the FA is much concerned about Women football and they will continue to raise the standard.

“If people talk about the FA not taking care of Women football, I don’t know what they are trying to talk about and I believe they don’t know what they are talking about,” Akenteng told footballmadeinghana.

“We have done a lot for Women football and we are trying in as much as possible to raise it”

“We have organized programs in all the regions for the growth of the game and we are expecting all the RFA head’s to help to help develop women football,”

Ghana have reached both the semi finals and the quarter finals in the Under 17 and Under 20 Women’s World Cup in the last couple of years whilst the Black Queens have also won the All Africa Games Women soccer.
