The Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Francis Oti Akenteng has emphasized that they have done a lot for the development of Women football in this country.
Akenteng highlighted that the FA is much concerned about Women football and they will continue to raise the standard.
â€śIf people talk about the FA not taking care of Women football, I donâ€™t know what they are trying to talk about and I believe they donâ€™t know what they are talking about,â€ť Akenteng told footballmadeinghana.
â€śWe have done a lot for Women football and we are trying in as much as possible to raise itâ€ť
â€śWe have organized programs in all the regions for the growth of the game and we are expecting all the RFA headâ€™s to help to help develop women football,â€ť
Ghana have reached both the semi finals and the quarter finals in the Under 17 and Under 20 Womenâ€™s World Cup in the last couple of years whilst the Black Queens have also won the All Africa Games Women soccer.
