Ghana striker Lawson Bekui is looking forward to the new season with his Omani side Dhofar SC.
Bekui, netted 17 goals in 22 appearances as the Salalah-based club won the league trophy for the first time in ten years and also reached the domestic cup final last season.
The former Dreams FC forward has already started pre-season with his club and he is relishing a great season.
The former Dreams FC striker is convinced that he has gotten the needed exposure and now has to move to Europe as he seeks a new challenge and also get to the top of his game.
“We started the pre-season last week Saturday but we are not having full house as some of the players went to national assignment,” Bekui told footballmadeinghana.com
“The League will start on September 13 and I am hoping for a good season and hoping to improve upon my 17 goals,”
Bekui added: “ We will be playing Super Cup on the 9th of September and we have our eyes already set on that,”
Bekui was the star man of Dhofar last season and was among the best players in the Omani League.
