Maxwell Konadu happy with Black Stars B performance

MAXWELL-KONADU

Black Stars B coach Maxwell has pointed out that he didn’t get a set team despite his side’s 2-1 win over Togo in Lome in an international friendly over the Weekend.

The Black Stars B boss could not get his full set for the game because of the Ghana Premier League outings and had to field many of the players who are usually on his bench.

“We have played lots of friendlies and we have not lost yet which shows how good the team has progressed,”

“I am very happy with how this crop of players played the game even without the top players. The wind was against us so we changed our tactics and started playing long balls and fortunately we got the two goals through Richmond Lamptey and Daniel Lomotey respectively,”

Ghana used the game as a preparatory outing for next month’s CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso.
