The Black Stars of Ghana whitewashed the Walia Antelopes of Ethiopia by five goals to nothing on Sunday afternoon at the BabaYara Stadium in Kumasi. Coach Kwesi Appiah paraded a youthful lineup made up of three debutants namely Agbenyenu Lumor, Thomas Agyapong and Raphael Dwamena and it worked to perfection as the latter grabbed a brace. The non-existence of branding materials of GNPC at Ghana’s opening 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia confirms reports the oil company has ended its mammoth sponsorship of the Black Stars.
